Very Healthy Giveaway Time !

I am always looking for more ways to incorporate veggies into my family's diet and if you are too you are going to love this giveaway.

The Very Healthy Spiral Slicer is a fun way to get add veggies on a salad or stir fry, or even to liven up a snack.

Moo and Boo watched The Ogre spiralize a carrot onto some spring greens and gobbled the salads right up, despite usually finding thin lettuce tricky to chew. The fun carrots brought them up to the challenge.

The cuts were choppier than expected, with most breaking off into shorter, match stick shreds. I think I will use the other side next time as I one side is supposed to shred soft vegetables like cucumbers and the other side hard vegetables such as carrots. Still, it was easier than using a cheese grater like we usually do though, and The Ogre plans to try it soon with softer vegetables, like a cucumber or a summer squash. I can't want to do a cold cucumber salad and some zucchini noodles myself.

Clean up was quick with the perfectly shaped cleaning wand that came with the Very Healthy Spiral Slicer.

Check out this video of The Ogre mastering our newest kitchen accessory and then sign up to win a spiralizer of your own.
