Hope everyone out there in cyber land has enjoyed their mothers day. I know I have and am using these last few hours of the day just to catch up on some things with the blog. This morning Moo, Boo and I made a pamper yourself gift for all of the grandmothers. We made a simple salt scrub (simple is a key word when working with a 2 & 5 year old on any craft) consisting of salt, fractionated coconut oil, and essential oils. If you are anything like me you love exfoliation and I hope the Grandmas do too because this stuff smells delicious. I really like La Lune Naturals coconut oil because, since it is fractionated, it doesn't solidify and will be much easier to clean up after exfoliating with it in the tub.
The oil is smooth and runs clear with really no scent, which is nice because then all your nose picks up on is the essential oil (It makes a great carrier oil!). Learn how to make your own on the video here.
